Our Coffee —

We believe in providing the very best for our customers and tea and coffee is at the forefront. Since opening in December 2010, we’ve been on a constant journey to source the finest leaves and beans we could lay our hands on.

We are currently one of a handful of select proprietors to serve Ouseburn Coffee Co in the whole of the county.

Becoming a Flat White barista is long process, requiring six months of coffee training.

We apply the same exacting standards to our tea. We serve a range of blends from the Rare Tea Company, an independent artisan company based in London, whose stockists include eateries such as the St. JOHN and culinary juggernaut, Noma. Our English Breakfast brew is by North East legend Ringtons. Simply because you can’t beat a blend that has the nostalgic taste of gathering around a teapot at your Nan’s house minutes after the tea-man had visited.

Flat White Coffee

OCC was Newcastle’s first independent roasters and are based in Ouseburn. Similarly, our expert baristas are trained in the antipodean ways of making coffee, ensuring that flavour remains the very best it can be. Becoming a Flat White barista is long process, requiring six months of coffee training before being let loose on the public. It is this attention to detail that has developed and strengthened our reputation for serving the best coffee in the North East.
